Art, Posters and Displays - Department N

Rules and Regulations, Etc. 

Open to any boy or girl 5-21 years of age as of September 1, 2022. All entries must be made in accordance with General Rule No. 2.

All articles for Exhibit must be brought in on Sunday, August 6th from 1:00 p.m. thru 5:00 p.m. or Monday, August 7th from 1:00 p.m. thru 7:30 p.m. All exhibits must be in place by Monday night by 7:30 p.m.

Non-Livestock/Home Economics bldg. will be closed all day Tuesday. Starting on Wednesday the building will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.


Premium checks and Entries to be picked up on Sunday, starting 3:00pm until 6:00 p.m for both checks and exhibits.

All entries must be the work of the individual and must be made since last fair year.  

Must be ready to hang with wire, no tape, duct tape, double stick tape, or will not be accepted. Posters and collage must be at least 14"x22" and not to exceed 22"x28". Do Not Use Tri-Fold Display Boards for Posters!

ALL ARTWORK MUST BE ORIGINALS. NO ESSAYS. NO COPIES OF PAINTINGS. NO DOODLE ART. Collages not framed.

Please attach tags to your entry securely. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items.

ALL PROJECTS EXCEPT FOR POSTERS WILL BE NO LARGER THAN 11x14 INCLUDING FRAME OR MATTE BORDER AND READY TO HANG.

All Canvas projects will be wired, ready to hang, NO DUCT TAPE holding wire!

All Project Categories, Poster Boards, only NO 3-sided boards, SINGLE Boards Only.

Mailed entries must be postmarked before Midnight, Saturday, July 15th

Entries can be made in person and will be taken in the Administration Bldg. on the fairgrounds which will be open on Saturday July 22nd, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday July 23rd, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only.

One Entry Per Premium Number Per Exhibitor                  

Judges Decisions Are Final

Administration Fee $1.00 Per Exhibitor, if entered in more than 1 Home Ec. Dept. will only be charged $1.00 Total

Each Entry Must Be Current Work, Trophy Awards Dept. N – See page 53, Trophy Awards Limited to Two Years in Succession

NO EXHIBITOR TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL ITEMS TO BE EXHIBITED ARE BROUGHT TO FAIRGROUNDS

Premiums Offered – $821.00

Exhibitor tickets must be purchased at the time entries are made. If not purchased, exhibitor will have to pay a gate fee on Sunday to come in and pick up your check and your entries, otherwise the building will be opened by the secretary on Monday, August 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ONLY
