Articles for exhibit must be brought in on Sunday, August 8th from 1:00 p.m. thru 5:00 p.m. or Monday, August 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All exhibits must be in place by Monday night by 7:30 p.m.

Non-Livestock/Home Economics Bldg. will be closed all day Tuesday. Starting on Wednesday the building will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Premium checks can be picked up in dept. on Sunday, starting at 1:00 p.m. Exhibit to be picked up on Sunday not before 4:00 p.m. and not later than 6:30 p.m. A picture may be entered in only one category. (Ex: the same picture cannot be entered in black and white and color). Pictures to be taken since Aug. 1st last year.

All pictures must be entered by amateurs and entered under the names of the person who took them. (Enlargements may be made professionally.)

Each picture MUST have an appropriate title.

Prints MUST be no larger than 5x7". All white posterboard/cardstock backing will be 7x9". All printed will be attached to the backing with at least 2 staples on the edges of the prints. PLEASE ATTACH THE PRINT SECURELY TO THE MOUNTING BOARD!! If it falls off, and we can determine where it belongs, we will STAPLE it back on from the front! NO MATTE BOARD and NO Foam Core!

One Item Per premium number. When checking in, please attach tags to upper left hand corner.

Mailed entries must be postmarked before Midnight, Saturday, July 17th.  


Entries can be made in person and will be taken in the Administration Bldg. on the fairgrounds which will be open on

Saturday July 24th, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday July 25th, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only.

Entry Fee: $.50 cents Per Entry,

One Entry Per Premium Number,

No More Than 25 Items Per Exhibitor Will Be Accepted 

Judges Decisions Are Final

Administration Fee $1.00 Per Exhibitor, if entered in more than 1 Home Ec. Dept. will only be charged $1.00 Total

Premiums Offered – $793.00

CONTENT – The picture should represent the category it is entered in.

COMPOSITION – Arrangement of the subject in the picture.           

CLARITY – Subject should be in focus in the picture.

Money for Exhibitor’s ticket and entry fees must accompany entry blank


Amateur – Open to those who derive NO income from their photographs

Exhibitor tickets must be purchased at the time entries are made. If not purchased, exhibitor will have to pay a gate fee on Sunday to come in and pick up your check and your entries, otherwise the building will be opened by the secretary on Monday, August 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ONLY.
